Job Description:

Calvert Impact is seeking a full-time Communications Analyst to support enterprise communications, sharing and promoting our work to further our ability to execute on our strategy and meet our business objectives. The key responsibility of the Communications Analyst is to keep our stakeholders informed and excited about our work.

This role is responsible for regular, proactive content curation and manages external communication channels including the company’s website, social media, and email campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to assume ownership over day-to-day communications work and to be the engine of content generation for a leading impact investing firm with a growing range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Content development and curation

  • Work independently, across teams and with partners to regularly produce relevant, original, high-quality content to tell Calvert Impact's story in an engaging and accurate manner, tailored to the distribution channel;
  • Write copy for organizational collateral and as needed, work with external PR firm, designers, videographers, web developers, and other talent to create digital and print assets;
  • Create, maintain and organize digital assets such as photo and video libraries, presentation templates, infographics, etc.

Digital Media

  • Manage our digital media assets and channels to build our audience, reach, and digital engagement to achieve our strategic goals. This includes primary responsibility for the website, email communications, blog and social media (twitter, LinkedIn);
  • Measure and analyze benchmarks to establish ROI based on key performance indicators (KPI’s). Analyze performance against KPIs and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising communications strategies going forward;

Press

  • Support Calvert Impact’s public relations strategy and implementation working closely with our external PR firm;
  • Track all media mentions and highlighting these media mentions through our external communications as appropriate;
  • Help develop and edit of press releases

Other

  • Manage events calendar and provide support for staff participating at events
  • Manage general communications inbox
  • Manage interns as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the role must have strong writing and editing skills, facility with both traditional and social media, basic design skills, ability to work both independently and across multiple team and products and ability to produce high quality content at a fast pace.

  • Highly organized, attention to detail, results oriented;
  • Strong editing and writing skills;
  • Experience and/or interest in impact investing;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights;
  • Experience creating, sourcing and managing content development and publishing;
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, news aggregator platforms; working knowledge of principles of SEO, including keyword research and Google Analytics;
  • Bachelor’s degree
